A Romantic Editorial at Cairnwood Estate

Early this spring, I had the opportunity to bring a creative dream to life with the most talented group. The team of creatives behind the editorial shoot at Cairnwood estate found our inspiration in the delicate beauty of spring. As the season came to life with fluttering butterflies, blooming florals, and shades of soft pink, we knew we wanted to capture the romantic and feminine aesthetic that embodied this time of renewal. The historic estate provided the perfect backdrop with its lush gardens and ornate architecture, creating a dreamy setting for their vision to come to life. With flowing dresses, intricate floral arrangements, and ethereal makeup, the shoot was a celebration of all things lovely and enchanting, a true ode to the magic of spring.

Cairnwood estate, a magnificent Gilded Age mansion located in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, holds a rich history that adds an extra layer of allure to the editorial shoot. Built in 1895 by the renowned architect Carrère and Hastings, the estate is a masterpiece of Beaux-Arts architecture, featuring grandiose marble fireplaces, intricate woodwork, and stunning stained glass windows. Originally owned by the prominent Pitcairn family, Cairnwood estate was a hub of lavish parties and gatherings, attracting the elite of society with its opulent beauty. Today, the estate stands as a testament to a bygone era of elegance and sophistication, making it the perfect setting for a romantic and feminine editorial shoot that pays homage to the timeless charm of the past.

This shoot served as inspiration for everyone involved, and was a true labor of love, filled with the most incredible synchronicty during the planning process, and the team just fell into place. It truly came to life from my imagination and there is nothing more special or rewarding than that.
