Timeless, Boho-Romantic Family Session at Hawk Mountain in Kempton, PA
Throughout my blogs you will notice a common theme. The couples and families I have the honor of shooting have something in common with me, something unique. We all share the same values, the things that we cherish the most and speak deep in our hearts. Although I mainly shoot weddings, connecting with families who share the same values as myself is always a treat. The Coshigano family was nothing short of that. They are such a beautiful, heartwarming family that chose a location that aligned with their aesthetic. I truly felt connected with the way they planned things, always keeping in mind what truly spoke to them. Here’s how they accomplished this.
The way they envisioned their family photo session felt very natural. They went for a bohemian, romantic family photo session with a tad of timeless elegance. I loved their connection and how they adore their daughter. The styling was gorgeous and went well with the scenery. My favorite detail is that they chose a location based on what spoke to them, matched their aesthetic and was so versatile. I shot their outdoor family session at Hawk Mountain in Kempton, Pennsylvania. This adventurous spot isn't always ideal for small kids but we really made it work. That to me was so beautiful I truly felt connected with. They chose something dear to them and catered it to their needs in the best way possible. Honestly, just look at the images; they radiate the happiness of sticking with what feels right and making adjustments if necessary. And this is the common theme amongst the couples and families I shoot with. Whether it's an elopement, a small wedding or a family session, going with your intuition and acting upon what feels right to you for your session will bring out the best and create beautiful, timeless memories.
